If any problems arise HIES will mediate to ensure that you are treated with respect and any issues will be solved. Below are some of the benefits that you can take advantage of.
What does this mean for you?
- Vetted and accredited installers: HIES vouchers for members (such as ourselves) that the services they offer are up to their standards. They also continue monitoring them closely to keep their accreditation and make sure that the members are still operating as best as they did when they passed the first check.
- Deposit & Stage Payment Protect: Your deposit with us is protected through the HIES deposit and stage payment scheme. The scheme covers up to 25% of the contract value (maximum £5,000) for a period of 120 days, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
- Insurance Backed Guarantees: In the unlikely event of a company has ceased trading the insurance backed guarantee protection is an insurance policy that covers the original guarantee provided by an installer.
- Consumer advice line: Apart from our own support and customer service you will also have the support from the HIES consumer advice line for any enquiries you might have about us.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution & Ombudsman: If you have a complain dispute with a company HIES utilises a third-party person such as an Ombudsman to offer dispute resolution services FREE of charge.
