Derwent House

Our new project took us to Derwent House, Washington. Where we were contracted to install and commission 40 apartments with individual inverters. Each apartment benefits from its own individual inverter connected to its own designated panels, depending on the array output provided by SAP calculations. The system sizes vary from 0.82kwh up to 4.1kwh.

The project took 2-3 months to complete and was a very passionate project for everyone involved. We made sure that these apartments had the best solar energy systems installed and that they had incredible energy efficiency.

Our team installed an incredible 119 panels using a flat roof ballast system and 50 panels on the buildings façade with a Schletter system. Internally, we constructed a custom Unistrut wall for the inverters to be mounted to, along with all the A/C and D/C isolators.

Combined, this will result in cheaper electric bills for homeowners and tenants. More importantly, it will help the environment by saving 18,500kg of coal burned per annum and taking pressure off the grid by producing nearly 70,000kwh per annum.

Solar energy is a great choice for apartments in the long run due to its many benefits. It can reduce your carbon footprint since you will become less reliant on fossil fuels and harmful ways of producing energy.

In turn, it will also reduce your reliance on the grid, seeing as all the energy you make will be yours. As a result, homeowners will also be able to lower their energy bills since they’ll only be relying on their own solar energy instead of any other costly energy companies—thus simultaneously saving money and making a little extra, too. It can also affect EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings, where the higher the rating, the lower the energy bill prices, making it more attractive to potential buyers.

Another keen advantage of using solar energy in your apartment is that it can help increase its value and attract new buyers, as well as overall improving energy efficiency.

It can attract those who are looking to live in an environmentally friendly place with a sustainable energy source. Since the government is looking for homes to become more environmentally friendly, tenants can also play their part in making the world more environmentally sustainable and attracting new potential buyers.

Solar panels are also very low-maintenance, making them an easy and popular way to get energy. This makes them a very attractive alternative for getting energy. Residents can be environmentally conscious and not worry about constantly sustaining and checking on the performance of their solar panels due to how low-maintenance they are.

In Conclusion

Our team ensured that this project was done to the utmost professional standards. This will help give these apartments a sustainable and reliable source of energy that will last a long time and help the environment. The Solar panels can also help boost future sales, helping to increase property value, leading to more people taking an interest in buying. Overall, they create an easy and convenient way to produce energy for present and future residents.
